This past weekend I rode in the AntiEpic 53-mile gravel grinder race. On my belt-drive Spot Brand SINGLESPEED cyclocross bike. One gear. For 53 miles. Yes, it was tough.
But it made me appreciate the belt drive even more. It's only thing to last a 45-minute CX race... another to ride flawlessly without risk of broken chain for 53 miles on gravel...

Yes! Belt drives are the best! My hubby works at Gates in the bike division, so let me know if you guys have belt drive questions!
